Interstate Competition

Join us and represent Maharlika BEARS for the interstate tournaments!

 

We are thrilled to share that Maharlika Sports will be fielding teams for the upcoming interstate tournaments! This is a fantastic opportunity for our athletes to showcase their skills, compete at a high level, and represent our club with pride. This is open for current Maharlika Bears players and new players keen to join us for the interstate competitions. Submit the EOI Form below to let us know you are keen to join.

 

We will be fielding teams for U12, U14, and U16. Each team will have 10 players. We are forming teams to compete in various divisions. 

 

Nunawading Spectres Tournament 2026 (Melbourne)

  • 6 to 8 June 2026
  • Minimum 3 games
  • Game venues are around Nunawading and surrounding suburbs
  • Saturday early 8AM start and Monday Finals which may start at 3PM
  • Fees approximately $450 - $500 which includes:
    • Competition registration and game fees
    • 2 training sessions with the team
    • Coaching fees 
    • Admin fees
  • Excludes the following:
    • Reversible jersey set ($85)
    • Accommodation
    • Travel & transportation
    • Meals

 

NAIDOC Tournament 2026 (Canberra)

  • 10 to 12 July 2026
  • Minimum 3 games
  • Game venues are around the AIS and surrounding school gyms
  • Friday afternoon start and Sunday afternoon Finals
  • Fees approximately $300 - $350 which includes:
    • Competition registration and game fees
    • 2 training sessions with the team
    • Coaching fees 
    • Admin fees
  • Excludes the following:
    • Reversible jersey set ($85)
    • Accommodation
    • Travel & transportation
    • Meals

 

Once selected to represent the club, the players' full commitment are expected and are not limited to the following:

  • Cost of team entry/registration, training, coaching and admin
  • Attendance to 2-3 training sessions that will be scheduled leading up to the competition.
  • Provide own transportation and accommodation to the interstate tournament.
  • Attendance to all the games during the tournament (Friday afternoon/evening, Saturday, and Sunday).

Expression of Interest Form




  • In the event my child makes the interstate tournament team, I agree and confirm to ensure that my child will attend all scheduled training sessions leading to the competition;
  • I agree and confirm to pay the cost for my child's participation which will cover the team registration, game fees, court hire fees for training, and coaching fees for the training and competition;
  • I agree and confirm to provide accommodation and transportation for my child for the interstate tournament;
  • I agree to collect or make arrangements for the collection of the child referred to in this enrolment form if he/she becomes unwell or behaves poorly at any time during the training sessions or games;
  • I do hereby acknowledge that of my own free will and desire, I voluntarily agree to assume the risk or any injuries, damages or loss, regardless of severity that my child may sustain as a result of being a participant in the activities connected with or associated with my child's involvement with the interstate tournament;
  • I confirm that I have read and agreed to the enrolment/booking terms and conditions
